The Story Ss-Assoc.com Interviews Sekrett Scilensce; Composer, Producer, & Web-Platform Founder of his Official Web-Destination
Ss-Assoc.com: Is making music a choice or a calling? Sekrett Scilensce: I can’t speak to everyone on this matter but for myself, it is a calling; a duty in an almost quasi-political sense while still natural all the while. I suppose it could be a choice, especially if natural circumstances prohibit you from obtaining other methods of succession. My personal belief is that you can always tell who has been summoned by music and who has made a choice to embrace music, based on how they permeate further awareness, notoriety, and most importantly, develop themselves into their future.
Ss-Assoc.com: If there was one thing that you could say, and you were guaranteed that everyone would listen, what would it be? Sekrett Scilensce: Revolt against the digital entertainment guilds. Say no to overly processed, heavily pitch-corrected music which is passed through as artistically viable rations. Tell the industry’s leader’s that all those Grammy’s and other awards should have been based on some sort of natural artistic ability and not talent by sales. Take back your segment of the entertainment industry without worrying about what anyone believes about your tastes, outlooks, or methods. Say yes to the differences you can make.
Ss-Assoc.com: What is the number one thing that you feel people are missing these days, and how does that relate to the music scene? Sekrett Scilensce: The problem is that people aren’t missing much in the internet, DVR age. You can’t rally them at one point as an example I suppose.
Ss-Assoc.com: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment to date, both musical and non musical? Sekrett Scilensce: Musically, I’ve been a musician on a few albums that went on to become Grammy nominated projects. Non Musically, continuing to fight off Communistic influences seeping between the red carpet and independent entertainment industries.
Ss-Assoc.com: Who influenced you the most musically? Sekrett Scilensce: I’ll name a few because I don’t know who did more than someone else. “Peter Gabriel”, Phil Collins”, “Led Zeppelin”, “Kiss”, “Genesis”, “Bo Diddley”, “Journey”, “John Williams”, “Clark Datchler”, “Frank Sinatra”, “Hans Zimmer”, “Judas Priest”, “Black Sabbath”, “Deep Purple”, “George Lamond”, “Ludwig Van Beethoven”, “Claude Debussy”, and “Chicago”. These are a few that come to mind. The simplest answer to how they influenced me is that when you place any of them next to virtually anyone of their respective time, you simply hear difference and feel difference versus being connected to a bill of goods presentational factor.
Ss-Assoc.com: If you could spend time and learn from one person, either living, or from the history books, who would it be and why? Sekrett Scilensce: General George S. Patton, General Erwin Rommel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Paul Newman, Elvis Presley, Andy Kaufman, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Martin Scorsese. Simply stated, I believe they could help me be more effective with most anything I’d do in the future.

Ss-Assoc.com: Music wise, what fuels what you unleash upon the public? Sekrett Scilensce: Anything either wrong or insensible in this world for the most part; I’d qualify that by my own personal feelings and outlooks; toppled with flavors of things I see or hear in collaboration with what many others have curiosities about but may not want to speak of. I really just love to write great music altogether.
Ss-Assoc.com: So passion in the contexts and subjects you compose and sing about is the main element altogether? Sekrett Scilensce: Ja.
Ss-Assoc.com: Have you ever felt fear with any of the themes (or ideas) explored through your music? Sekrett Scilensce: No. I am secure with myself and therefore, secure with all choices and implementations.
Ss-Assoc.com: Are you ever inclined to record more standardized music, versus your typical seven to eight minute epics? Sekrett Scilensce: I am inclined to record what I think will be greater than something else.
Ss-Assoc.com: Do you see the music industry’s trends & standards as something which brings your Music down or rather, makes it harder for you to employ yourself? Sekrett Scilensce: I do not abound by industry standards; furthermore, I as well do not implore anything along the lines of standard whether it is concerning my recordings or marketing.
Ss-Assoc.com: Are you saying that it is all open to interpretation? Sekrett Scilensce: I don’t normally digress concerning this, but I’ll say this much; I saw a cover of a Rolling Stone Magazine somewhere that said something like the future belonged to “Radio Head” or some item; that’s just silly. The future has always belonged to the fans. They put us at the top no matter where we start from and essentially, will put you down once they have either grown tired of you or you’ve stopped producing the music that connected you with them in the first place. I am not talking about recycling yourself but rather, growing up with your fans while still leaving yourself accessible to all the youths growing up.
Ss-Assoc.com: You are sometimes labeled over the top or radical; how do you view this labeling? Sekrett Scilensce: It is preference and perception. Listen to my music for insight if you’d like but mostly, to be entertained and at that, in a way you may not be otherwise.
Ss-Assoc.com: Could it be said that confidence plays a major role in your overall strengths as a Composer & Producer? Sekrett Scilensce: I’d rather say it is my opposition to most things that makes it distinct. I don’t like to run around aimlessly. There are a lot of unchartered regions to be discovered in humanity. You call to society by creating a great experience and as a musician, by delivering a great performance on all mediums possible. In my eyes, this aspect enables the vehicle to make statements or reprise ideas without that antagonistic edge that many will look for right from the start.
Ss-Assoc.com: Do you like to antagonize? Sekrett Scilensce: Yes. It isn’t evil to do so. I have confidence in listeners and observers to make mature judgments.
Ss-Assoc.com: Are you speaking of balance with less restrictions? Sekrett Scilensce: They said we were going to have flying cars; and they thought computers would be bigger etc. In reality, everything has become more compact, mobile, and portable. In the same manner, with a world smaller than a Nintendo DS, what is restriction? Music, if you truly love it and have an idea to innovate it, will push boundaries as necessity toward building into the next great Era of entertainment.

Ss-Assoc.com: How do you perceive your music to be interpreted in the future? Sekrett Scilensce: I feel that I have continued to build upon the core foundations of music’s artistic aspirations. Many believe that it is an industry of selling small plastic jewel cased discs or downloads. In my view, it is still about being great, greater, and then the best you can be, for yourself and whoever would like to join your evolution. Sooner or later, it becomes revolutionary. I believe one should seek for that revolution to be meaningful and not merely celebritized. Maybe I’ll be interpreted as one of the artiste who stood with betterment and greatness, despite all the changes and demands that arose. The monetary aspect is still difficult to streamline, but it is easier to access if what you present is your best. If you can do that ninety percent of the time, then you’ve done more than the other thousands of musicians, authors, and artists who have either overworked their self with one product or who have become social-networking careerists versus fulfilling their initial dreams. I say that as a modern example.
